Four years ago I chose to open my heart and sponsor a family of 4 from Albania. I was devastated by their story and wanted to help in any way I could. It’s one thing to pay a monthly sponsorship, send a gift and write a letter every few months, but to actually feel like they have become an extension of your own family is something I can’t put into words.
